Raw from the Sea...Celtic Sea Salt® and Sea Vegetables!

As with most of our other foods, we buy directly from the farmer (harvester in this case), so we are sure of the purity, integrity, and rawness of the food.  The seaweeds listed below are all sundried and sustainably wildcrafted.  The Dulse, Nori Sheets, and Wakame are Certified Organic.

We try to keep our prices as low as possible. If you find a better price elsewhere for a organically-grown, raw, US-grown product, please let us know and we will try to match it.

Please feel free to order fractional amounts (for instance .5 pounds, or 1.75 pounds, etc) on any items.

Celtic Sea Salt® Light Grey Celtic® coarse - $1.50 per 1/4 lb. or $4 per lb.
We used to believe that salt was unhealthy.  After researching the issue, we realize that normal table salt is unhealthy, but Celtic Sea Salt® can be a healthy addition to the diet.  It doesn't contain the high levels of sodium and chloride (as well as high amounts of iodine) that table salt has.  In addition, it has good amounts of moisture and trace minerals (more than most other salts, including Himalayan Salt - see mineral analysis and comparison), is hand-harvested and dried by the sun and wind, and tastes great!  We have chosen the Light Grey Celtic® coarse salt variety due to its purity, taste and minimal processing. Discounts offered for 1 or more pounds. We have samples available if you would like to try.  Just let us know in the comments section of your order.  Please feel free to order fractional amounts (for instance .5 pounds, or 1.75 pounds, etc).  See Raw Recipes for suggestions.

 Dulse, Flakes - $18.00/lb.

Certified Organic and harvested off the coast of Canada.  After Nori, dulse has the highest protein (25%) of all the seaweeds.  Also, a good source of iron, potassium, and Vit. C.  This product is scanned when crossing the border.  This process has been analyzed and approved by the organic certifier.  This process does not change the product in any way, nor does it have any affect on the enzymes, vitamins, or minerals.  We asked....repeatedly.  See Recipes for suggestions.  Please feel free to order fractional amounts (for instance .5 pounds, or 1.75 pounds, etc).

  Dulse, Whole -  $27.00/lb.
Certified Organic and harvested off the coast of Canada.  This dulse is amazingly soft and tasty! Please feel free to order fractional amounts (for instance .5 pounds, or 1.75 pounds, etc).  As it comes from the ocean, ocean debris might occur.  Diligent efforts are made by harvester to remove prior to packaging.   Due to the minimal processing done on this product, please examine before eating.   Due to a limited supply, we have had a price increase and discounts are not available.

 Wakame - $22.00/lb.

Wakame is known as Alaria in California.  Amazingly high in calcium with appreciable amounts of Vit C, B-12, and protein.  Like Sea Palm and Kombu, wakame contains alginic acids which have been shown to help remove mercury and heavy metals from the GI tract. Chewy - nice rolled up with a pate in a collard or romaine leaf.   Please feel free to order fractional amounts (for instance .5 pounds, or 1.75 pounds, etc).   See Recipesfor suggestions. Soak for 15 - 30 minutes to soften.  As it comes from the ocean, naturally present debris might occur.  Diligent efforts are made by harvester to remove prior to packaging.  Due to the minimal processing done on this product, please examine before eating.
